Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead. Accommodation: Protea Hotel Kampala (~$120 per night).
Day 2: Kampala to Kibale National Park – Chimpanzee Tracking
Drive to Kibale National Park (approx. 5-6 hours). In the afternoon, embark on a guided walk in the forest to spot chimpanzees and other primates. Accommodation: Chimps Nest Lodge (~$150 per night). Dinner included.
Day 3: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive followed by a sunset boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge (~$200 per night).
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Morning Game Drive
Early morning game drive to spot lions, elephants, and buffalo. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy lodge amenities or optional village tours. Accommodation remains at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, famous for its mountain gorillas (approx. 6-7 hours). Evening at leisure at the lodge in preparation for gorilla trekking. Accommodation: Bwindi Lodge (~$250 per night).
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After a briefing, embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Spend up to one hour with the gorillas, capturing memories of these magnificent creatures. Return to your lodge for relaxation.
Day 7: Bwindi to Kigali, Rwanda
Transfer across the border to Kigali, Rwanda. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and local villages. Depending on arrival time, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Accommodation: Kigali Serena Hotel (~$180 per night).
Day 8: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park – Golden Monkey Trekking
Travel to Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered golden monkeys. Afternoon golden monkey trekking or optional nature walks. Accommodation: Virunga Lodge (~$300 per night).
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Day 10: Departure from Kigali
